College & Career Technical Education

At Crawford High School, our Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways are designed to equip students with practical skills, hands-on experiences, and exposure to real-world industries. They engage students in meaningful learning that bridges the gap between the classroom and future careers. These programs not only help students discover their passions, but also build the confidence and readiness needed for success after graduation, whether in college, the workforce, or other postsecondary opportunities.

Early College Credit

Crawford students have exciting opportunities to get a head start on college—at no cost! By taking CCTE courses, students may qualify to earn college credit while still in high school. These classes are directly connected to community college programs and are designed to prepare students for both college and future careers. At the end of the course, students can take a Credit by Exam test. If they demonstrate college-level skills, they can earn credit from a local community college—without ever leaving their high school campus.

Why This Matters?

*Save time and money on college

*Explore future careers

*Gain confidence with college-level learning

*Build your college transcript while in high school

Talk to your counselor or CCTE teacher to learn which early college credit opportunities are available at Crawford. Whether you want to explore a career, earn a certificate, or to just try something new, there’s a pathway for you
